Year of Learning 📚
As an annual ritual, I set aside some time at the start of each year [since 3 years now!] scribbling about the highs & lows in the previous year.
In keeping with the tradition, I’ll dive into the not-so-deep ocean of my 2020.
Highlights ⭐️
🌟 Finances (2020: 69%, 2019: 28%)
2020 was a mixed year for the broader economy with certain companies [technology, consumer essentials] benefiting from the pandemic while many others [restaurants, entertainment] suffering massive losses. For me personally, it was a great year with my total investments rising by 69% in past 12 months. At home, I outperformed myself year over year and externally I beat S&P 500. So, I’m doing some thing right with value investing approach, I guess!
I continued to stick with the tools I used in 2019.
